Vegan Burger Pattie



Ingredients:

  • 2 fresh whole wheat burger buns.
  • 1 cup ATOM Roti Protein.
  • ¼ cup wheat flour.
  • ¼ cup corn flour.
  • ¾ cup cooked mashed potatoes.
  • ¼ cup rolled oats.
  • ½ tsp oregano.
  • ½ tsp dried basil.
  • ½ tsp dried parsley.
  • ½ tsp onion granules.
  • ½ tsp garlic granules.
  • ¼ tsp mustard powder.
  • Pepper.
  • ¾ cup water.
  • 1 tbsp AS-IT-IS peanut butter.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce.
  • 2 tbsp organic tomato ketchup.
  • Cheese slices.
  • ¼ cup finely chopped veggie mix (mushrooms, onions, tomato).
  • Salt.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil.

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 3750F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix cooked mashed potatoes, ATOM Roti protein, wheat flour, corn flour, oats, oregano, dried basil, and parsley in a large bowl. Add garlic, mustard powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper and knead well until well combined and form a firm dough. Shape some portion into a pattie—heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Transfer the pattie to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Toast the burger buns with a little oil, top one side of the burger bun with veggies, and cheese slice, and place the pattie on the bun. Place the other burger bun on top of it and your veggie burger is ready to eat.
